Applebrook Golf

Monday, May 21st, and Tuesdays, June 26th and September 25th

Applebrook Golf Club, Malvern, PA

This is a great opportunity to play at an exclusive and wonderfully maintained course. East Goshen residents may play golf on a members-only day on May 21st.  On the Tuesday dates, residents may bring up to three non-resident guests. Tuesday dates include a delicious barbeque lunch on club’s patio. Please see www.eastgoshen.org for all the details and to download the special Registration Form that is just for golf. Golfers may reserve caddie or use a pull cart on Tuesday dates. On May 21st, all golfers must reserve caddies. Greens Fee: $90 Caddie Fee: $30

Zumba

Zumba Gold – Mondays at 5:30pm, April 9th to May 14th
Fitness class for older adults and beginners

East Goshen Township Building

If you happen to pass by the Township building late in the afternoon or early evenings on Monday, you will know that something exiting is happening on the second floor.  Doesn’t matter if the windows are open or closed – you will hear Zumba!! And if you look up, you will see free spirited instructor, Pam Nelson swaying.

Aerobics

Think spring and take the leap into looking and feeling good for the warmer weather.  Take this awesome class with dynamic instructor, Ann McGrath.

Fee: $59 ($49 for Winter 2012 registrants)


Pilates

Wednesdays, April 4th to May 9th or Thursdays, April 5th to May 10th

10:30am to 11:30am at the East Goshen Township Building

Let experienced Instructor Ruby Telehorster lead you on the path to better coordination, flexibility, and core-strength.  You owe it to yourself.

Boot Camp Fitness with Colleen Crossed

She’s more than a fitness guru- she’s all about helping people become physically healthy and happy. This class meets in East Goshen Park- so it’s close. The hours are diverse and the class participants smile. Albert Einstein said: “Nothing happens without movement.” Get up! Do it!


Meditation for a Healthy Body and Mind

Tuesdays, May 1st to August 14th – 4:00pm to 5:00pm

Meditation contributes to an individual’s physical and emotional well-being.  Various techniques like breath work assist you in managing your stress and taking care of your breath.  Learn to live in the moment.  From there happiness and a sense of peace can follow.  Charo will be your gentile guide.

At the East Goshen Township Building

Taught beautifully by Charo Cabello, this ancient art helps with general well-being.  Your body will become more flexible, stronger, balanced and healthy.  A complete health system, Yoga stimulates the body to function efficiently and provide stress relief.  Bring a yoga mat, small pillow, and wear comfortable clothes.

Basics Fee: $120 total for 14 weeks
Seniors:      $90

East Goshen Basketball Courts rain or shine

This camp will push you to a new fitness level.  The workout focuses on agility, endurance and strength training by combining heart-pumping cardio circuits with resistance training drills.  Fun obstacle courses, anaerobic interval training, plyometrics, full-body muscle toning are all part of it along with creativity and fun.  You have to meet Colleen to believe her! * Participants should be able to walk a mile briskly.
