2012 Youth Camp Registration Form

Monday to Friday, July 2nd – August 3rd
9:00am to 12:00pm – Entering Grades 1 through 6
East Goshen Elementary School

FUN, FUN, FUN!  Well organized with an awesome and experienced staff that includes state-certified teachers to serve your child and an excellent student to staff/volunteer ratio.  We use the school building as well as the outdoors which means your child is always protected from the weather.  Generally, activities on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays include arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, recreational level Spanish, and more.  Children travel with their grade-mates for 30 minute classes and enrollment is limited to ensure quality.  In addition, on Wednesdays there are super fun field trips.  Each Friday is a Wacky Friday – with its own theme.  Goshen Fire Company is also enlisted in bringing out a fire truck and water cannon each summer!  World famous Magician and Guinness Book of World Record Holder, John Cassidy will appear at the program.  No two summers are exactly alike.  Variety keeps us relevant and creative.  Fun is number one along with safety.  See www.eastgoshentownship.org for more details.  We love kids.  Limited enrollment

Fee: $80 per week for residents and $90 for non-residents.  Includes everything including a t-shirt and field trips.  You pick the weeks you want.  ($70 and $80 for the 4 day, July 4th week).  There is a $7 discount per week for 3 children or more.

UK Elite Soccer

Ages 5 t0 12

Monday to Friday, June 25^th – June 29^th, 9:00am to 12:00pm

UK Elite Petite Soccer

Ages 3 to 5 – This class fills fast

Thursdays: April 12th to May 17th (Rain Date May 24th)

11:00am to 12:00pm, 12pm to 1pm

This is a fun, healthy and enriching experience for the most precious among us.  Wail till you see them smiling and running and accidentally learning soccer skills to boot!  The pros from UK Elite will not disappoint you.

Fee: $89 for residents and $95 for non-residents

Golf Clinic

Ages 6 to 14

August 14th to 17th, Tuesday to Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm

The youngsters will be separated into three age groups.  We will cover topics such as course etiquette, short game, full swing, putting, and rules.  Students will also have a chance to play on our miniature golf course.  On the last day of the camp the students will will be playing 9 holes at Clayton Park to show off their new skills!  Each clinic will cover a specific topic in group setting followed by individualized attention from our exceptional certified and PGA instructors.

Fee: $179 for the 4 day clinic

Tennis Clinics at East Goshen Park Courts

August 6th – August 9th Monday thru Thursday (Friday is the rain date)

Ages 6-9 9:00am to 10:00am
Ages 10-12 10:00am to 11:00am

Join the fun and fitness at the park courts this summer.  Learn solid stroke mechanics through exciting games and drills.  Footwork, speed and agility, etiquette, and rules of the game will all be emphasized according to level.  Participants should wear sneakers, bring a tennis racquet and a water bottle.

Fee: $60 per week per child

Meet the Instructor: Sandy Whiteside has 17 years experience instructing tennis clinics and directing camp programs in some of Chester County’s finest facilities including the UMLY, Penn Oaks Racquet Club and ACAC Fitness and Wellness Center.  Sandy is a PTR professional and an accredited Development Coach specializing in making tennis fun for all ages and abilities.  If you wish to come in and talk to Sandy and register, come to the Tennis Clinic registration at the Township Building on Saturday May 19th from 9:00am to 11:00am .  Sandy Whiteside’s address is 208 Cambridge Chase, Exton, PA 19341.  There is a separate registration form for the Tennis Clinics.  Go to sswtennis@aol.com or call 610-348-6341.

Basics of Fishing Clinic

Ages 8 and up

Saturday, June 2nd at 9:00am

Meet at the East Goshen Township Building

Children must be accompanied by an adult.  The good folks at the PA Fish and Boat Commission grant us a one-day, “Fish for Free Day”.  They give some critical information on conservation and skills and take us fishing with plenty of rods and reels.  BOS member, Dr. Thom Clapper and District Judge, Chet Darlington will provide lots of hands-on help.  Every summer, every child has caught at least one fish!

Fee: $5 per person
